The Thickness Control Table (MCE - Mesa de Controlo de Espessuras) is a device created to measure the thickness of objects at three points simultaneously.
The MCE is built by a measuring table, a tabletop where the samples are placed, and an arm attached to a support bracket. This is where the digital gauges’ supports are placed. The activation is made pneumatically.
The three gauges have fixed positions, but adjustable in order to ensure the measuring of the plate/sheet (by default they are positioned to measure a 820x420mm plate at equidistant points).
Optionally an acrylic shield may be provided to protect the gauges against direct impacts.
